Yoga is divine. Yoga is fulfilling. Yoga is beyond physical. But it is also elusive and addictive. And don’t go by the looks of it. Even the simplest looking Aasana(postures) can leave you huffing and panting. Yoga not only twists every muscle in your body but it also offers serenity that is almost out of this world. It rejuvenates your body and soul.
I was introduced to Yoga by a dear Aunt at an early age. Though the early phases were filled with that undying zeal of a teenager, the spirit was lost somewhere in the materialistic race of mundane life chores. However, the love and desire for Yoga remained somewhere deep within. Then “Yog Amrutam” happened- a phenomenon that rekindled the spirit of learning Yoga in me. Here, I found a Guru whose energy resonates with you but who is also patient with beginners and seekers like me.
The Diary of a Yoga Novice is a chronicle of thoughts, experiences and challenges as I walk down the path of Yoga. I am not an expert but a seeker. And Yoga not only trains a body but also gives you food for thought. This is an attempt to make the journey more enjoyable and also gain from experiences from other Yoga lovers.
